"The Cats Wiskers"
We have just returned from The Cat having stayed one night. We have never been in The Cat even though we only live about an hour away but will definitely return. The room was great we loved it, it was a bit small but we loved the quirky feel with the big wet room and the great big bed, the bedding was immaculate and the towels fluffy. As it was Saturday night they had a resident DJ so it is quite loud but this didn't bother us. The bar restaurant is really well done where the old meets the new it’s very contemporary with a fab outside area .The breakfast was very tasty. It is busy at the weekend but if you are there for a good night out what could be better. We loved it.

"Meal for friends 40th Birthday"
We went to the Cat in Nantwich for my friends 40th Birthday just for a meal, as we live local. I arrived early and the staff let me dress the table with Balloons and were more than happy to take the cake from me, to present to my friend later on in the evening. We were a group of 4 Adults and 4 Children ages from 8 - 12. The Children were allowed as long as they stayed upstairs and were eating, which I totally agreed with as I wouldn't want them in a busy town bar.
The menus were great, lots to choose from and the Kids menu had about 6 choices on it, inc Sausage and Mash, so not everything came with chips. The food was excellent although we did have to wait a while for the meals, and because of this the Manager sent a glass of Champagne up to the Birthday Girl.
They fetch the cake out along with some side plates and a knife, so we were able to have some Birthday Cake. We left at around 10 there was no rush to push us out because of the Children although they were really well behaved.
So I would like to Thank them for making my friends Birthday special, and we will definitely eat here again.

"Location location location + Service & Decor!"
I have often frequented the Cat for drinks, meals & nights out and in January decided to book the honeymoon suite - 'The Octagon' for our wedding night.
Although I believe the standard rooms to be as you would expect, the Octagon is something else! With a hot tub at the end of the bed & open plan bathroom it is definitely an experience I would recommend.
The service was excellent, we were waited on hand & foot and had a 3 course breakfast bought up to the room (much needed to soak up the previous days excesses).
I would recommend drinks & meals to anyone passing through and if you are looking for accommodation in Nantwich there's really no where else to stay, Welsh row & the Cat have everything you will need for a od night or weekend out.
